A child born with thalassemia major needs someone else's blood every fortnight, for as long as they live. One donor cannot carry that. About ten can — which is what a blood bridge is.

What we do
Two things, working together: blood brothers and sisters for every patient, and screening so fewer are born needing one.
Blood Bridge
Ten donors around one child, matched by blood group, who stay. Transfusions, medicines, nutrition and counselling, so they can live as healthy as other children.
Prevention
A ₹350 carrier test, free to the family, against a condition that costs about ₹20 lakh across a life. Screening, counselling and follow-up with district health departments, alongside care — never instead of it.
